The closure of the Queen’s college, Lagos is though not the best of action considering the learning time that would be lost, it is however a good decision at this point, considering the health issues surrounding the closure of the school.
While we worry about the education of the students of the school who have been sent home, we ask the Federal Government to speed up the sanitization of the school’s precincts and make it optimally healthy for the returning students who would resume education in that environment.
We ask that the school management and the Federal Ministry of Education be thoroughly investigated and those found wanting be charged according to the dictates of the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria.
We want to express our condolence with the families of those who have lost their loved ones to the cold hands of death.
